2020 PEIFA Trade Show

Once again this year Island Weigh 95, Inc. will have a booth set up at the upcoming PEIFA Trade Show to be held at the Delta Convention Centre in Charlottetown on February 28 & 29.

It’s a great way to meet clients we may have only spoke on the phone to over the years.  Hope you can stop by our booth to;

• say “Hi” to some of our office staff,
• fill out a ballot for 1 of two draws,
• register for dockside monitoring services for any upcoming 2020 fishing seasons,
• make us aware of any changes to your account such as changes in address, vessel, contact number etc.,
• checkout our website to see some of it’s features; like how to register online or order Tags,
• make a payment on your account via; cash, check, money order, E-Transfers can be sent to Islandweigh@hotmail.com, and now we are accepting visa, american express and master card for your convenience.

2019 Fishing Seasons

With the Herring season already underway and the Snow Crab and Lobster seasons just around the corner, we know you are very busy.  Please remember it is important prior to going fishing to give us a call to set up for any Dockside Monitoring services you may need for the 2019 season.  This will help us ensure there is enough staff to provide the service where you need it, when you need it.

Whether it be Herring, Snow Crab, Rock Crab, Toad Crab, Groundfish, Tuna, Mackerel or any other species you may need Dockside Monitoring for, we will set you up with no charges until your first hail/landing.  Keep in mind we will only provide monitoring services to those fishers/buyers whom are in good standing with Island Weigh 95, Inc.

NEW LOCATION

This winter has been a busy one for Island Weigh with renovations going on at their new location set to open in April, 2018. It is our pleasure to announce that our MAIN OFFICE for hails is being relocated to 261 Phillip Street, Tignish. Our mailing address will remain the same, Box 490,Tignish, PE, C0B 2B0.

The office at 220 Harper Road will be our ORIGINAL TAGS OFFICE only. Yes we are now a “DFO Approved TAG Supplier”.

Island Weigh 95, Inc. is asking for Public Support!

Island Weigh 95, Inc is asking for the public’s support on Monday August 14, 2017 at 6:30 pm at the Tignish Village Office Public meeting.  We are asking to change a property in Tignish from residential to commercial.  This residence is being considered for a new office to open in 2018.  There is a write up about this in the West Prince Graphic this week.  Thank you and hope to see you there.  Tammy Arsenault, Island Weigh 95, Inc.

NEW this year, we will be providing Dockside Monitoring for the 2017 Mackerel season.  Any fishers requiring our services may do so by contact us or by register for Dockside Monitoring online.

On this beautiful morning we seen our first Robin.  One of many wonderful signs of Spring.

Congratulations to Rupert Glover and Ivan Gaudet who were the winners at this years Trade Show.  They each won $50 in dockside monitoring services for the 2017 season and an Island Weigh 95, Inc. hat.

Thanks to all of you who took the time to stop by our booth and say hello and to register for the 2017 season.  It was nice to finally put a face to some of those voices we’ve heard on the phone, many times throughout the past years.
